It was announced today that Mario Lopez will take the lead hosting spot on Extra TV’s weekday celebrity news show.
He has been working on the show as the weekend news anchor.
Mario is replacing singer Mark McGrath. It was also announced that Mark’s co-host Dayna Devon will be a special correspondent on the show.

“Transformers” actor Shia LabEouf was arrested for DUI on Sunday morning at 3:00am at the corner of La Brea and Founain in Hollywood after his car collided with another causing Shia’s car to roll.
Shia was then arrested on suspicion of DUI after he he showed “outward signs” of being intoxicated. He did receive an injury to his left hand which will require surgery.
There was also a female in Shia’s car as well as the male driver of the other car are said to be okay and sustained minor injuries as well.
What a HOT mess! Shia you need to get it together. He was also arrested last year for getting his crunk on in Walgreens and earlier this year for unlawful smoking in Bubank.
Shia might want to put down the bottle and cigarettes.
